I purchased the “Irony” pattern from one of our guest speakers with all intentions of making something for a friend who really likes to iron. Well, her 75th Bday is coming up July 25th...her special Bday card is made, as well as three irons to hang in her laundry room, where she irons! .

The Bday card is an example of what we will be making at the Postcard Workshop I will be teaching on August 2nd. Supply list will be available in the July newsletter

I’m attaching a photo of the toy bag/ beach bag for the August 30th workshop. This bag can be used to carry toys etc . and opens up flat so it can be used for a play mat.

The counted cross stitch part had been completed for “several” years and while I was contemplating what to do with that, I came across genuine Clemson fabric and decided this needed to become a pillow. My daughter graduated from Clemson in 2000....

String quilts are supposed to use up one’s scraps… not so. This one just left me with more scraps.

This pattern is called Darts. I loved playing with 25 Patrick Loos colors and uncountable low volumes… all from my stash.

Here is a picture of a watermelon table runner I made for my son’s family. I had purchased the pattern a while ago, and when I found the watermelon fabric for the backing at the Northern Star quilt show this year, I KNEW the table runner was gonna be made. And I cannot tell you how many years I have had the watermelon rind fabric!
